Sun Valley Highlights

We spent some fun days in Sun Valley with some of Christian's family. This is the third time I've been there--the first was on our honeymoon, the second was last September. And I have to say, it was an awesome vacation! We ate good food with fun people and I even got in a set or two of tennis. Our little girl is already loving the sport, I just know it. Here are a few highlights of the trip...

Here are most of the ladies I spent the trip with. I want Helen's hair cut. She's the little blonde on the left.  CiCi--the platinum blonde on the right told me she likes me because I "just say it how it is." It's so fun getting to know this side of the family more...hopefully they can say the same about me and Christian!

Christian practiced being a dad. He and Molly were pretty much inseparable--until she had to go home with the rest of her family, anyway.  Christian held Molly so much that one of the relatives was confused for quite some time, thinking HE was the father. It was pretty funny.
Laurie's mom, Grandma Marlene is the whole reason why we get together and why we stay in Sun Valley. We are super lucky to belong to her flock.

how cute are these two? Another inseparable pair. You may recognize our favorite Sarah Grace (on the left). Aubrey turned three while we were on this trip. She called Christian "Squish-ton." And I think she may have beat him at dominos.

We watched Roger fly his plane--and he landed it perfectly, too!!

Don't worry, our little girl didn't miss out on a thing!

Pool time.

What do you do when you see swans in a pond? You pose like a swan, of course!
Meet Laurie's brothers: Chef Dave and Chef Chris, as I called them. I was lucky enough to be their pretend sous-chef.  I look a bit worn out in this photo...it may be because I'm 9 months prego, or it could just be that that night we had grilled bacon-wrapped shrimp with halepeno pepper and jack cheese, asian drumsticks with a garlic, ginger cilantro sauce, and ham fried rice. Either way, these guys are as amazing as their food.

Relaxing time. Do you think these two are related??
