Here we are--the 4 East High School Grads as of tonight, my brother joined the ranks, and of course it was a reason to make a 4 layer white cake with chocolate buttercream frosting...

I am really proud of my brother!!! if any of you haven't heard his rendition of "Sherry" which I've mentioned before, you have to check it out here.

  3. Hi Wasatch friend,
Do you have a MAC? If so, that's the first important thing to have before getting into digital photography. I have a PC at home but the U of U and different jobs I've had had really nice Macs that I used which really helped. I bought a Canon Rebel XTi a year and a half ago and I love it. It's the least expensive Canon you can buy, but any professional will tell you that it works as great as the pricier ones. And, it's not as heavy weight-wise. Also, Adobe Photoshop CS3 is a must if you want to edit pictures. It's $999 but if you're a student or if you know a student, they can get it at student price for only $200. You can also download a 30-day trial version for free of of their website. I'm always learning so much on that program--from experimenting and from learning from other people. There's so much on there it's impossible to learn it all. Those 3 items- Canon Rebel, Mac, and Adobe Photoshop have been the best! Sorry, that's probably more than you wanted to hear but it's what I know!
