As part of my job (at The Summit Group)...I am helping out with a SUBWAY initiative in New Mexico. Each day I go in to work hoping for a thick envelope in the mail stack with the words "Fresh Fit Poster and Video Contest" on it. What does this have to do with Luke 21:19? Well, sometimes I can't go 15 minutes without checking to see if the mail has come yet. Why? Because I want more entries!!! The contest is simple. Kids draw a picture or send in a video depicting what they and their families do to stay fit. The judging panel chooses 2 winners to recieve $1,000 fitness grant for their school, free Subway for a year for a family of four, a bike, and more prizes...who wouldn't want a chance to get that?? That's 52 x 4 Subway footlongs for a year! Anyway...that's what I've been waiting and waiting and waiting on lately. Don't know what Luke says in chapter 21? better look it up or watch That Thing You Do.
