Dear Christian,

I'm sorry all I do is spend more money than I should and make more messes before I clean up the old ones. I should be doing things like watering our square-foot garden (oh, I mean half-dead peas and long gone squash) or filling the car tires with air. Or how about I just clean up and stop spending money? I can only promise to be a tiny bit better. If you forgive me, I promise I will never make you wear this shirt:

    I'm pretty sure that I feel the same way. I always feel like I'm apologizing to Russell for buying small things here and there, but they seem so necessary to make a home a home.
